Heh
Lawdy, I've not written for more than a month! I've been kind of running in one place, not finding any time to relax or even think of life and when the words do flow I'm in a space with neither pen nor paper.
I was hunting for a phone number, while thinking that I also need to search for a sympathy card for my boss, whose mother died last week and wondering if my answer to the most recent assignment is on target, what am I wearing to work tomorrow, I still need to find a place to live that is nice, in a relatively safe area and with an income that may soon ground to a halt. Phew!
All this is going through my head , when I found another of my poems, written long ago probably when someone else passed on and someone else wanted me to attend a funeral that I did not want to attend. Check it out!

I want to be missed
Not because I’m dead
But because I’m loved
Remember my hugs
Or maybe my smile that brought sunshine to your face
I want to be missed
Because my energy
Vibrating like the leaves on a tree
As the wind travels through, over and under it
Brought you peace.
I hope that when I am gone my "small kindnesses" will be remembered.
ReplyDeleteHang in there ! Let me me know if you discover how to fit everything you need to do (including sleep 7 hours) into the twenty four hours. I need help.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteMissed reading your thoughts, and thought you may be very busy to find time to write. Anyway glad you did find time.
